Making home made soap has always been a creative outlet for me. Recently, making home made soap blossomed into my passion and I was inspired to share my products with you. When making my natural soap, I strive to minimize the impact on the environment by using eco-friendly products and ingredients whenever possible. I want my products to be truly "green", which is why I use pure essential oils and organic soap products and never harsh, artificial fragrances.

Also, all the coloring products used in my hand made soap is natural or organic. I am personally involved in the entire soap making process from mixing the essential oils all the way through to the hand cutting individual of bars of soap. I truly hope you enjoy all Woodberry Basicis handmade soaps and other natural products.

Why use Handmade Soap?

Most soap available in stores today is not really soap at all, but detergent. Commercially made soap, in general, is less eco friendly and harsher on your body. Detergents are petroleum based, like gasoline and kerosene and tend to leave your skin feeling dry, itchy and tight. Natural soap is made with natural oils, has a high glycerin content (commercial soaps remove glycerin and sell it to cosmetic companies) and is better for the environment by not using petroleum and lacking harsh detergents and phosphates.
